Your career information is personal.

AppliTrail stores your account identity, Master CV profiles, application records, uploaded resumes, generated documents, reminder settings, AI usage, plan details, billing-event history and sign-in visit metadata so the service can provide its features across your devices.

How information is used

Your information is used to save your dashboard, extract editable information from an uploaded CV when requested, generate career materials, show reminders, enforce account allowances, maintain subscription and credit balances, provide support and protect the service from misuse. It is not made visible to other AppliTrail users.

Administrator access

The AppliTrail administrator can see account identity, access and plan status, AI credit activity, sandbox payment events, and the time and browser or device description recorded when a signed-in user opens AppliTrail. AppliTrail does not collect account passwords, IP addresses or OpenAI security information for this audit. The administrator dashboard does not display users’ CVs, job descriptions, applications or generated documents.

Payments

The current sandbox checkout does not collect card details. It stores only the selected plan or credit quantity, displayed amount, currency, sandbox reference, status and timestamp. When live payments are introduced, card information will be handled by the payment provider rather than stored by AppliTrail.

AI processing

When you confirm CV extraction, the uploaded CV is sent to the configured OpenAI API to organize it into editable fields. When you request a tailored CV, cover letter, phone brief or interview preparation, the relevant job description and selected Master CV evidence are sent for that request.

Files and account deletion

Uploaded resumes are stored privately. A newly uploaded CV is not added to the Master CV library until you review and save it. You can remove individual files, export your structured account data or permanently delete your account data from the Account page.

Your responsibility

Review extracted and generated materials before use. Do not upload information you are not authorized to process. This notice may be updated as AppliTrail’s services and legal requirements develop.
